In the mean time, if you just need to resize your images before uploading there are tools on the Internet for that. Here is one that will work on-line. Microsoft paint.net is a free photo editing software that works a lot like Photoshop but unlike Gimp, it's a **** of a lot easier to figure out. I tried Gimp but eventually gave up on it.
