Photo Shop is a great tool but there is a free alternative with GIMP. In the mean time, if you just need to resize your images before uploading there are tools on the Internet for that. Here is one that will work on-line. After completing your choices just right click on the image and save it to your machine.

I hope that helps,
Cees

Another alternative may be Artweaver. This program "feels" like Photoshop.

Oh and I always forget to mention this one.

I have an account at AVIARY http://aviary.com this a site providing several free on-line tools for vector and image editing. Great stuff actually.

Microsoft paint.net is a free photo editing software that works a lot like Photoshop but unlike Gimp, it's a **** of a lot easier to figure out. I tried Gimp but eventually gave up on it.
