I would like to see more lessons on flowers and other still lifes because the site only has one 1 feel i need more knowledge of how to draw them

Hi Benzy, drawing flowers or still life is very similar to any other drawing. Its a matter of observing carefully shapes and tones. I'd recommend that you study other's drawings and paintings so you can see how they construct their botanicals.
Also, keep an eye on the Drawing Challenges. There may be a flower or two turning up in there for you to practice on.

I love flower drawing. They are my favorite subject as a matter of fact. I recommend also that you look on Amazon.com and use the key words you posted for this forum and you can find some really good books on drawing flowers, color penciling flowers and painting flowers. I have one of each. Some I just ordered or I would tell you the names. Another thing is buy magazines and try to look up other reference photos and doing them yourself. If you look at the picture long enough you can basically tell where to start. WetCanvas.com has an excellent reference library. Hope I helped!!!

I have tried amazon and ur rite, they do have some good books. I havnt got around to looking at the wetcanvas website yet but hope to soon
