Cowgirl isn't too hard... just need the hat, boots, cutoff denim short shorts (or jeans if it's too cold out), and a plaid button-up-shirt with the top buttons unbuttoned, heavy mascara or fake eyelashes, shiny pink lip gloss, and a piece of straw to chew on. You'll be the purrtiest cowgirl around.
I wear the same costume every year, just to walk the boys around. It's a she-devil with a pretty red dress, horns, long blond wig, fake eyelashes, lots of makeup, red nails. And once again, my husband isn't around for Halloween this year. He flies a lot with his job. I swear he misses Halloween every year on purpose...

So that's ok, more candy for me (the candy sorter gets her own stash)

Almost forgot to mention, my 2 yr-old is a green dragon this year and Ian (9 yrs) is some sort of skeletal warrior guy. Store-bought costumes.
