Here's a helpful little tip for your pencil sharpeners. I've added a picture so you can see it.
Tape a cheap paint brush to your sharpener to wipe away the crumbs each time you sharpen. Just rub your pencil point through the brush. It keeps the tiniest little shavings off your paper. Make sure you don't tape it over the opening where you empty the shavings.

wonderful idea Painter! Thanks for sharing that.
I keep a little soft cloth next to mine and wipe the point across that after sharpening it.

Wish I'd known that sooner, would have saved a lot of smudges...

Well, now I have a use for those blush brushes I was going to throw away. Thanks for the tip!

Thanks, I'll do that. However, I'll use my make-up brush. Much smaller

Never thought of taping it on like that, but I have a little goat-hair brush that lays on my desk which I used to wipe my pencils points after sharpening and also use it to brush off my paper after erasing.

I also keep an Exacto knife to kick out those pesky tips that break off in the sharpener. It makes a quick recovery.
