Hi All!

So many did it before me and expressed so well their journey into Cindy Wider's world! What can I add?

I've registered myself in so many 'beginner drawing courses' in my life in many cities around the world as my career was taking me in different countries. Every time I felt that I wasn't gifted and I’ve never completed the course! But I was well equipped, with all these pencils, crayons and paper that I love to get … and no satisfaction in creating a drawing or even in improving over numerous trials.

One day, while surfing the net on ‘drawing’, I found Drawspace and became a member illico. Months later, via Drawspace, I received an invitation to a drawing class … without leaving my home, via the internet with all the freedom you have in showing at the table at any time of the day or night. Paint in your pyjamas!!! That was for me! … and it did more than I though. Over 5 months, I couldn’t believe what I’ve done. Getting at home on Friday night is a pleasure: a new lesson is waiting for me, another weekend where I have to spend a few hours doing what I love most: drawing!

What can I add? Thousands of smiles and sincere thanks to Cindy!

Clairce, I echo your sentiments! You have done a fabulous job on your self-portrait. Doesn't it feel good to have achieved this? You know what is more important than anything? That you are obviously enjoying creating, and it shows! You should be very proud!, Congratulations!
