I 've been working on this outline of the face for 2 days now and I know something is off I just can't figure it out maxbe you guys(and girls smile.gif ) can help me out

That's a nice reference pic -- lots of shadows to describe the shape of her face. It will make a nice drawing.

I put your images into GIMP, scaled the drawing so the height of the heads were equal, put them in two layers of the same image, made the sketch semi-transparent, increased the contrast, and moved them so that the faces lined up. As you can see, the mouth and nose are in the correct positions relative to the head size, but the eyes are not at all. Also the forehead is too high, and the placement of the jaw is off. The angles of the eyes and eyebrows are off, too.

Hope this helps -- sorry it sounds so critical.

very helpful .. I have had that happen as well where i feel the image is off .. the person I draw for never sees it but I can tell either the eyes are not matching up exactly or the space between the nose and mouth ..how very cool to know how to check it like that ...I almost always have to draw from a small photo enlarged almost where you see pixles because the quality is not very good .

lol yea my main source of references I get from the internet on my psp which has a screen resolution of 480x272 talk about difficult.

Btw kim to convert a video you can use vixy.net upload the video and at the convert drop down menu select the option for psp
