Hi all,

welcome to Snoopy 101's top 50 count down, my name is Brian your host and curator of Snoopy 101. As promised a continuation of the count down, here are the next 5 characters counting down with a brief description and references to draw from.

Although I am no expert on this....

45. Boris Badenov & Natasha Fatale, fictional characters created in the 1960's animated Cartoons "Rocky and his friends" and "The Bullwinkle Show"

44. Alvin, fictional character created in 1958 for an animated music group "Alvin and the chipmunks"

43. Donald Fauntleroy Duck, an American cartoon character from the Walt Disney Company, first appeared in 1934.

42. Wonder Women, a D.C. comics super heroine first appeared in all star comics #8 in 1941.

41, Daria, a fictional animated character from MTV's animated series, "Beavis & Butthead" created by Mike Judge in 1993.


My Challenge

The purpose of this challenge is to encourage individuals to practise their drawing skills and have fun, and so I encourage all levels of skill to participate, simply draw one of the references I have provided below by the original creators, or use any reference you wish, you may use any type of medium you like, but please no computer graphics, all drawings must be hand drawn, you may use your computer to add color or text but please post your original drawing first.

There are some great choices in this group. I can't wait to have a go at Boris and Natasha. The chipmunks are really cool too. But then there is Donald too... this is going to be hard to choose, or be a busy week or so doing several. Thanks again Brian.

Hi Helen, very sweet drawing you did. Donald and his girl friend look great together, by the way her name is Daisy Duck.

Here is my take on Donald Duck. I tried doing this from an original sketch by the cartoonist. It was great as it had notes on it about different aspects of the character. Very interesting. Done in pen and coloured with watercolour pencils. A5 size.

I've been meaning to draw these and time just keeps passing me by.
Last night I was a bit more relaxed and just felt like drawing something relaxing and decided this was a perfect time for this.
So here is my contribution, done in ink in my sketchbook - i plan on adding a bit of WC during the day to give it some life, will post the update

I'm working on Boris and Natasha right now. Should be done by tomorrow hopefully.

Here's number 45 Boris and Natasha. I've already started on 44-41. I'll try to finish them as soon as I can.

Hey Roxy, those are bang on...fantastic!.....I take it you got some more art supplies.

Found my pens in the second box I looked in good thing they were near the top. I inked Alvin now I just need to colour him. It's hard to get anything done at my work but at least I try.

Number 44 and 43. Alvin and Donald duck. Sorry it took so long. i'll try to finish my wonder woman picture today. I already started drawing Daria just need to ink her and colour. In the meantime enjoy!

I'll try to work on the last 2 from this one today. They are already drawn so just need to finish the ink and colour. If not today maybe tomorrow.

I'm almost done wonder woman should be done tomorrow. She's mostly coloured i'm only missing my blender. And well I'm done Daria but I'm going in order so I have to wait till i'm done Wonder woman to post. And I should be posting the new post soon I'll see if I have any time tomorrow if not i'll try for thursday, friday will be the latest because I don't know when i'll have internet when I move.

Number 42 and 41, Wonderwoman and Daria. Sorry it took so long I guess when I'm not at work I don't draw as much lol Well I had a week off before I moved and I thought I should probably finish them before I leave. Not exactly sure if i'll have the internet as soon as I move or in a little while so if I don't have the internet I'll draw the next 5.
