I just did the basic shape exercise and it was hard for me. I'm trying to believe I'll eventually get to the point of adding fur and stuff and making a dog look kind of life like.

I enjoyed this lesson and learned a lot. I'll wait, though, until I have more experience before I try the advanced drawing!

I think the idea for this lesson is learning to pull shapes from a picture and draw on that. If you want to learn how to do the hair, look at the advanced tutorial "Isaac" in diverse animals.

It's going to take a lot of practice to draw the hair. Great lesson.

Really enjoyed this lesson. Just found it a problem when I put the furr on. Wasn't sure how to do it, but enjoyed it anyway. Thanks

I have a hard time sketching the shapes and drawing with them. They distract me and confuse me. I do better with barely anything there. Is that something that will also go away with more practice?
