I also had a problem with the eyes but I practiced it in different ways and drew the one I thought looked best!!!

A challenging lesson. I have tried many times before to draw horses and until now I was not successful. I am pleased with the results. I do wish this lesson had larger images in it though. I really prefer to blend my shading lines and didn't care for the outlined stripe on the horses face so I left it out and let the shading do the work.

I found the order we were told to do things very random, and thought I was having to add details far sooner than I should have been. There is also no mention of how/when to add the lines that give the muzzle depth (those two lines below the right eye, on the cheek). They just appear. Very difficult, I'm going to be repeating...

Yea, I would have loved more explanations as well. I'm particularly stuck at the mane, which is impossible to get right.

I really need to repeat more hair shading.

My first ever attempt to draw a horse. Did the profile one too figuring I could use the practice. The lesson was good. I have lots to work on.
