My son and I did thislesson together. He really enjoyed it. While I usually enjoy drawing I found this a little tedious.

This lesson was good practice in drawing lines. I did use a ruler to place dots so the lines radiated from the center of the forehead then I drew lines between the dots without the assistance of the ruler.

I'm doing all my lessons in sketch books. I'm filling up the oldest one first. Using another for a glossary of terms used in the lessons; re: Art Speak highlighted words, for future reference. As I progress and get better, then I'll use the better stuff I've already laid out bookoo-bucks on. Costs to much to waste on "doodles". I do need to get more pencils and I can't find my knead eraser.

I used mix media art paper...spiral bound book, which is on sale this week -40% @ Michaels. So it was only about 8.00 100 pages.
Makes a difference. I know I need to by more pencils thou.

That's good to know, Nattty1.

I think I am going to try to use a pen, and I was already looking toward computer paper because my special art paper is... (just I don't want to use it, yet)

I was wondering if anyone else used computer paper or loose leaf paper and I guess so. Cool. I'll be back when I'm finished! :)
