Variations of Bud

Line drawings can look very different from one another even when the subject is identical. In this project, you draw six different versions of a simple flower bud based on a drawing by Leonardo da Vinci (of course, I named it Bud).

They're probably not the best quality and I don't know where you are, but Wal-Mart has sets of pencils in their craft section.

Good lesson. I sprayed my charcoal page with matte finish and still managed to smear it. I think charcoal may need multiple coats.

I have a combination of sketches on the one page. The challenge of different shapes using different pencils, charcoal etc. And I did a couple negative light sketches using my 4b. I have pencils on order, but won't get them for a while.

I have to go shopping. Don't have 4B charcoal. The only charcoal I have is a 2Bmed.
