Sam & Samantha

In this project, you use curved lines to outline a cartoon child, and then make the hair curly with squirkles. Most ofthe illustrated steps are the same for drawing either Sam or Samantha; hence you can draw two children or only one.

Grrr, I don't make them small enough! It just looks like I looped pencil led around and around, it doesn't look detailed at ALL! >.<

Found the lesson easy to follow. Drawing my own twins was a challenge though.

I was certain I couldn't draw! Now that I am on to squirkling I am learning little by little that I was wrong. It feels good to produce a drawing that I am proud of...even amazed by

I'm not fond of the clown features in this lesson. I tried to give my kids a more natural look while following the lesson, but they still turned out looking like clowns. I think it's the noses. Bulb noses go with clowns. Otherwise this was a real challenge to shade using squirkling.
