Coming Out of the Dark

In this lesson you draw the three-dimensional form of a sphere with a focus on light, shadows, and a cast shadow. The medium is charcoal, and erasers are the drawing tools.

Pretty good lesson but, quite difficult if erasing is to COMPLETLY get rid of lines in your mind.

im not reading the lesson but the pic iss cool and even though im 9 i know if u shade under the object and take your finger you can smear it allittle and it will look more reslistec!!!!!

It works even better if you use a blending stump or cotton ball... well, I'll admit I've never tried the cotton, but using a blending stump rather than your finger is easier and neater!

The information is understood clearly. easy to read and comprehend for beginner-intermediate drawer. However, not having proper pencils,paper and erasers did not give me the proper texture to my work. One the smooth paper I used I could not get much texture. The pencil did not go dark enough. And the eraser, not able to proper pull off nicely.
